This project is about gathering the memories and associated visual material of ex employees of the most iconic Nottingham industry of the twentieth century – Raleigh Bicycles – and sharing these so they can be accessed by people from across the community and elsewhere and used as an educational resource in local schools.
Our aim is to create an ongoing and organic living history archive which will bring the experiences of some of the thousands of Nottingham people who worked at the Nottingham factory back to life, through their own words and images.
